Two New Books...

200 Beading Tips, Techniques & Trade Secrets. Trade Secrets? There are no secrets in beading! The more we teach you, the more we get you hooked :) This really is a good book especially for a newer beader.

Beadmaille. This book combines chainmaille and seed bead work. REALLY cool ideas! I think it is written for some one who has done at least one chainmaille project before. So, if you have not, take a look at our class list to see the upcoming classes.

A Night With The Artists

Wednesday, September 15  ~  4-7 pm
No registration needed.

If you ever admired the art beads of Susan Bailey (Turtle Soup Beads) or Sandra Helm (Buckaroo Beads) but did not know what to do with them, this is for you.

During this one-night event, the artists will bring beads from their newest lines. This will be a much more intimate setting than their Trunk Shows, so you will be able to discuss design possibilities with them.

New Items

New from the team at Surroundings Fine Art & Design: Ceramic Pendants. Owner & head designer, Acadia Hahlbrock, created these fun, whimsical, pieces with our customers in mind. I am sure they will make a great focal point for your next necklace. All of these pendants are one-of-a-kind, so make sure you come in to pick out your favorites today!

The new colors of seed beads are out.  Jenn is particularly happy to now have Mudbrick (her favorite brown) now in 8's and 11's.

Attn. Embroidery Lovers:

New From Hidden Forest Gems… WOOD CABOCHONS. These hand cut cabs are so pretty that I want to keep them all for myself! I am especially impressed how light-weight these are (about a third of the weight as a stone of the same size).

The Key to Happiness is found at Stony Creek Bead...

Well, these new keys from Susan Bailey, of Turtle Soup Beads, certainly do make us happy!

They are fun and whimsical in their own right, but add them to some of her other beads, and you have the makings for a stunning necklace!
