Basic Stringing
Tuesday September 11th  6:00 to 8:00pm
Cost: $25 + Materials

Have you ever wanted to learn how to make jewelry but weren’t sure where to start?  This is the class for you!!  Learn to string jewelry and attach the clasp so it is securely fastened.  This is an essential skill for every jewelry maker.

Tufted Pillows
Saturday September 15th  1:00 to 4:00pm
Cost $35 + Materials
Instructor: Cathy Andrews
Experience Level: Intermediate

Use SuperDuos and fire polish to weave these domed components that look like little pillows.  The ‘V’ shape will lie nicely around your neck and you can definitely use the component to make earrings!!

Learn the wrapped loop technique in this class which is an essential skill to make earrings.  

Helm’s Deep Bracelet

If you’ve never done chainmaille before, or need to learn Helm’s Weave in order to take the vortex medallion class offered later this month, this class is for you! In the spirit of J.R.R. Tolkien’s sparkling Crystal Caves behind Helm’s Deep, Angela presents this Crystal Helm’s Weave bracelet! Kit fee of $10 is payable directly to the instructor. Crystals and clasp to be purchased in-store (roughly $5).

Ring Around the Rosie

Use leather to weave around metal rings to make this trendy bracelet.  This bracelet would look great on a man or a woman!!! * the $10 reservation fee is non-refundable (unless you cancel 48 hours before class begins) and will be applied towards the purchase of class supplies 

Nefatari Bracelet

Have some of the new Arcos, Minos and Nib-bit beads and you aren’t sure what to do with them?  This project is for you!!  Put those beads to good use and make this cute bracelet.

Vortex Medallion
Wednesday Sepember 26th 6:00 to 8:00pm

Experience Level: Advanced
Learn to create a beautiful vortex medallion. Choose from a variety of ring colors to make your own unique pendant. These make great gifts!  Finished medallion measures 1” diameter. Students must have prior experience with Helm’s Weave in order to register. Ring kit includes a combination of silver-plated and anodized aluminum jump rings. Kit fee of $15 is payable directly to the instructor.

Mandala Necklace
Thursday September 27th 6:00 to 8:00pm
Cost $25 + Materials
Instructor: Kim West
Experience Level: Determined Beginner (previous beadweaving experience is recommended)
Weave 3 round components that look like mandalas into this beautiful necklace.  You can very easily modify this pattern and use just one component for a smaller necklace.

   Attendance Policies
The following policies are in place to insure an enjoyable learning environment for you as a student, and to express respect for the teacher and your fellow students.
  • Do Not Wear Perfume (or strongly perfumed lotions, etc.) the day of class.  Several of the teachers and students have allergies, asthma, or sensitivities to perfume.  Please be considerate in this matter.
  • Prices listed are for the teacher fee only.  Materials are extra.  A tool kit (containing pliers, cutters, scissors, etc.) is available for your use during class.  Exception: Beading needles for thread-work classes.
  • Payment in full is required at the time you sign up for a class.  We accept phone registrations with a credit card.
  • You must pre-register so we may prepare properly.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any class where the minimum number of students is not met.
  • For private lessons, we reserve the right to enroll other students for the same lesson at the same time.
  • No refund will be given if you cancel less than 48 hours prior to class.
  • Only the students signed up for class may attend.  Family or friends cannot “hang out” in the classroom.
  • Students must be at least 13 years old.
  • Please arrive 15-20 minutes before class starts.  Due to time limitations, teachers will not be able to repeat instructions if you are late.
  • Cell phones  must be set to “courtesy mode.”  Please step outside the classroom to answer the call or have the conversation.  No exceptions.
  • If you normally wear glasses to read, bead, or do other crafts, please bring them to class.
