Star Struck

Back by Popular Demand!!  We had so much fun with this class a couple of months ago, we offering it again this month.  This netted necklace will really make a statement!

Basic Stringing
Tuesday July 11th  6:00 to 8:00pm   $25
Instructor: Kim West
Experience Level: Beginner

Learn to string jewelry and attach a clasp to make sure it is securely fastened.  This is essential for every jewelry maker.

Earrings and More
Thursday July 13th  6:00 to 8:00pm   $25

Experience Level: Beginner

The focus of this class is to learn the wrapped loop technique which is essential to have for every jewelry-maker.

SuperDuo Wrap Bracelet
Tuesday July 18th  6:00 to 8:00pm   FREE
Instructor: Kim West
Experience Level: Beginner
Use SuperDuos and seed beads to create this fun wrap bracelet.  This is a bead-weaving project so you will be using needle and thread to ‘sew’ the beads together.  Even though this class is free, please be sure to sign up so we are sure to have enough room.

Woven Bezel Pendant

Experience Level: Advanced (Must have in-depth experience with wire weaving)

This is the second class in a series of advanced wire weaving classes offered here at Stony Creek Bead! Students will learn from Lisa Barth’s course book “Timeless Wire Weaving: A Complete Course,” and the class instructor, to create beautiful, professional-grade, wire woven jewelryPurchase of the book is required for this class and it is being taught with Lisa Barth’s permission.

Pretty in Pink

Stony Creek Bead would like to welcome CJ Bauschka to the teaching team!!  CJ is a local bead weaver who has been published several times in Bead and Button magazine.  Learn to make this fun pendant with accompanying chain using DiamonDuos!

The Cello Bracelet

Weave the new Arcos® Par Puca® beads together into a shape that reminds me of a cello instrument.    

Nefertari Bracelet
Thursday July 27th   6:00 to 8:00pm   $25

Experience Level: Determined Beginner (some bead-weaving experience is required)

Cathy created this new bracelet using some of the new shaped beads here at the store.  Named after an Egyptian queen, this bracelet is so fun to make!!

   Attendance Policies
The following policies are in place to insure an enjoyable learning environment for you as a student, and to express respect for the teacher and your fellow students.
  • Do Not Wear Perfume (or strongly perfumed lotions, etc.) the day of class.  Several of the teachers and students have allergies, asthma, or sensitivities to perfume.  Please be considerate in this matter.
  • Prices listed are for the teacher fee only.  Materials are extra.  A tool kit (containing pliers, cutters, scissors, etc.) is available for your use during class.  Exception: Beading needles for thread-work classes.
  • Payment in full is required at the time you sign up for a class.  We accept phone registrations with a credit card.
  • You must pre-register so we may prepare properly.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any class where the minimum number of students is not met.
  • For private lessons, we reserve the right to enroll other students for the same lesson at the same time.
  • No refund will be given if you cancel less than 48 hours prior to class.
  • Only the students signed up for class may attend.  Family or friends cannot “hang out” in the classroom.
  • Students must be at least 13 years old.
  • Please arrive 15-20 minutes before class starts.  Due to time limitations, teachers will not be able to repeat instructions if you are late.
  • Cell phones  must be set to “courtesy mode.”  Please step outside the classroom to answer the call or have the conversation.  No exceptions.
  • If you normally wear glasses to read, bead, or do other crafts, please bring them to class.
