Ribbons on Ice
Saturday October 7th  10:30am to 12:30pm   $25
Instructor: Cathy Andrews
Experience Level: Intermediate
Yes, it is time to start thinking about Christmas already!!!  This is Cathy’s 2017 ornament design.  Use the herringbone stitch with seed beads and embellish with crystals to create this ornament.








Earrings and More
Tuesday October 10th  6:00 to 8:00pm  $25
Instructor: Kim West
Experience Level: Beginner

The focus of this class is to learn the wrapped loop technique which is essential to have for every jewelry-maker.  In my sample, I made a cute Halloween-themed charm bracelet but you can choose your own project.






Mirror Image Bracelet
Thursday October 12th
AND Thursday October 26th  6:00 to 8:00pm   $50
Instructor: Angela Peters
Experience Level: Advanced

This class will be taught in 2 parts. In the first class, students will learn the weaving pattern, and will create two fully woven sections (mirror images of each other). In the second class, students will learn how to join the two sections together, add embellishments and weave the crisscrossed ends to finish their new bracelet! This design is from Lisa Barth’s course book, “Timeless Wire Weaving,” and is taught with her permission.

Basic Stringing
Tuesday October 17th  6:00 to 8:00pm   $25

Experience Level: Beginner

Learn to string jewelry and attach a clasp to make sure it is securely fastened.  This is essential for every jewelry maker.












Knotted Flowers Bracelet
Wednesday October 18th  6:00 to 8:00pm  FREE (but a $10 kit fee is required)

Experience Level: Beginner

We had such a huge response to this class that we decided to run another session this month for those of you who weren’t able to take the class last couple of months.  Learn a simple chainmaille technique to weave jump rings into little flowers/knots.  This is a delicate bracelet that is super cute!!  Even though the class is free, registration is requried so we are sure to have enough room.



Party Pinwheels
Thursday October 19th  6:00 to 8:00pm  $25
Instructor: Kim West
Experience Level: Intermediate (previous beadweaving experience is required)

Use the new Arcos® and Minos Par Puca® beads to weave several pinwheels that will be connected together.  Finish it off with a cute little chain.










Woven Link Necklace
Saturday October 21st  10:30am to 12:30pm  $25
Instructor: Angela Peters
Experience Level: Determined Beginner (previous wire-working experience is recommended)

Learn to make decorative wire-woven and wire-wrapped links into a necklace. Wear it by itself, or as a matching chain for wire wrapped pendants! Purchase of Lisa Barth’s book “Timeless Wire Weaving: A Complete Course,” is required and is being taught with her permission.




Maya Bands
Tuesday October 24th  6:00 to 8:00pm   $25

Experience Level: Beginner

If you are interested in beadweaving and aren’t sure where to start, this is the class for you.  Use SuperDuo beads to weave square components that are woven together to create a bracelet.  This design was created by Deborah Roberti and is being taught with her permission.










Roll out the Barrel
Wednesday October 25th  6:00 to 8:00pm  FREE
Instructor: Kim West
Experience Level: Beginner
Weave leather around large-hole beads using the barrel knot to create a fun bracelet!  Even though the class is free, registration is requried so we are sure to have enough room.


Tempest
Saturday October 28th  10:30am to 12:30pm   $25
Instructor: Cathy Andrews
Experience Level: Intermediate (knowledge of CRAW is required for this class as it will not be taught during the class)
Use CRAW (Cubic Right-Angle Weave) to create components using seed beads and Swarovski Crystals.  String them together into a necklace or they would make cute earrings by themselves.

   Attendance Policies
The following policies are in place to insure an enjoyable learning environment for you as a student, and to express respect for the teacher and your fellow students.
  • Do Not Wear Perfume (or strongly perfumed lotions, etc.) the day of class.  Several of the teachers and students have allergies, asthma, or sensitivities to perfume.  Please be considerate in this matter.
  • Prices listed are for the teacher fee only.  Materials are extra.  A tool kit (containing pliers, cutters, scissors, etc.) is available for your use during class.  Exception: Beading needles for thread-work classes.
  • Payment in full is required at the time you sign up for a class.  We accept phone registrations with a credit card.
  • You must pre-register so we may prepare properly.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any class where the minimum number of students is not met.
  • For private lessons, we reserve the right to enroll other students for the same lesson at the same time.
  • No refund will be given if you cancel less than 48 hours prior to class.
  • Only the students signed up for class may attend.  Family or friends cannot “hang out” in the classroom.
  • Students must be at least 13 years old.
  • Please arrive 15-20 minutes before class starts.  Due to time limitations, teachers will not be able to repeat instructions if you are late.
  • Cell phones  must be set to “courtesy mode.”  Please step outside the classroom to answer the call or have the conversation.  No exceptions.
  • If you normally wear glasses to read, bead, or do other crafts, please bring them to class.
