Pretty in Pearls
Thursday August 11th   6:00 to 8:00pm  $25

Experience Level: Beginner

This is a great project to learn Right Angle Weave and make a dainty necklace at the same time.


 




Ear Cuffs

Tuesday August 16th  6:00 to 8:00pm  $25
Instructor: Angela Peters
Experience Level: Beginner

Learn how to make 3 different styles of ear cuffs, and leave class with 6 cuffs ready-to-wear home. You will learn how to make closed loops, and both open and closed spirals. Beginners are welcome. Please bring a hand mirror with you to class.






Basic Stringing

Just about everyone can string beads on a wire, but you will learn the techniques needed to design a bracelet, and to make jewelry that fits and stays securely fastened. 











Gordias Bracelet

Experience Level: Determined Beginner (Some prior seed bead experience is required)

 Make this lacy bracelet that has a lot of sparkle!!






SuperDuo Wrap Bracelet

Friday August 19th    6:00 to 8:00pm  FREE
Instructor: Kim West
Experience Level: Beginner
In the free class for this month, we will make a wrap bracelet out of SuperDuos.  This is a great way to use up the odds and ends you might have and make a fun mix.  Even though the class is free, you will need to register so we are sure to have enough room.




Gatsby Girl Earrings
Saturday August 20th  10:30am to 12:30pm   $25

Experience Level: Determined Beginner (some seed bead experience is required)

Learn to bezel around a Swarovski Rivoli and create earrings that are full of sparkle.









Tree of Life Pendant
Tuesday August 23rd  6:00 to 8:00pm   $25
Instructor: Angela Peters
Experience Level: Beginner

Learn to make a tree of life pendant with stone chips and wire.  This has been a very popular class and it is so fun to see the pendants after class.  The finished size of the piece is 1 5/8 inches.






Earrings and More
Wednesday August 24th  6:00 to 8:00pm   $25

Experience Level: Beginner
The focus of this class is to learn the wrapped loop technique which is essential to have for every jewelry-maker.  You can choose a different theme for your bracelet or earrings.











Star Turn Necklace
Thursday August 25th  6:00 to 8:00pm   $25 
Instructor: Kim West
Experience Level: Determined Beginner (some prior seed bead experience is required)

Learn to make stars out of Super Duos and connect them together with a beaded chain. 







Wire Braided Bracelet
Saturday August 27th 10:30am to 12:30pm    $25
Instructor: Angela Peters
Experience Level: Beginner

Learn to braid wire around beads to make a fun bracelet.  You will also learn to create a wire hook closure.


Aladdin’s Lantern Beaded Bead
Tuesday August 30th  6:00 to 8:00pm  $25
Instructor: Cathy Andrews
Experience Level: Beginner

Use Peyote stitch to make this fun beaded bead. 



Playful Pentagon
Wednesday August 31st   6:00 to 8:00pm  $25
Instructor: Kim West
Experience Level: Beginner (some prior seed bead experience is preferred)

Use the new DiamonDuo beads to form a pentagon shape that is woven together at an angle.

Stony Creek Bead’s Class Sign-Up 
& Attendance Policies
 
The following policies are in place to insure an enjoyable learning environment for you as a student, and to express respect for the teacher and your fellow students.
 
  • Do Not Wear Perfume (or strongly perfumed lotions, etc.) the day of class.  Several of the teachers and students have allergies, asthma, or sensitivities to perfume.  Please be considerate in this matter.
  • Prices listed are for the teacher fee only.  Materials are extra.  A tool kit (containing pliers, cutters, scissors, etc.) is available for your use during class.  Exception: Beading needles for thread-work classes.
  • Payment in full is required at the time you sign up for a class.  We accept phone registrations with a credit card.
  • You must pre-register so we may prepare properly.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any class where the minimum number of students is not met.
  • For private lessons, we reserve the right to enroll other students for the same lesson at the same time.
  • No refund will be given if you cancel less than 48 hours prior to class.
  • Only the students signed up for class may attend.  Family or friends cannot “hang out” in the classroom.
  • Students must be at least 13 years old.
  • Please arrive 15-20 minutes before class starts.  Due to time limitations, teachers will not be able to repeat instructions if you are late.
  • Cell phones and pagers must be set to “courtesy mode.”  Please step outside the classroom to answer the call or have the conversation.  No exceptions.
  • If you normally wear glasses to read, bead, or do other crafts, please bring them to class.
