Czech Bead and Stone Trunk Show

Our vendor who supplies most of our Czech glass beads will be here on May 16th from 10 to 5 for a special truck show.  He will have many beads and stones that are not available in the store.

Buckaroo Beads Trunk Show!!

Sandy Helm of Buckaroo Beads will be here on Saturday April 25th from 10 to 5 with her newest lampwork designs.

We have some new Super Duo colors that are called 'magic' and they are really cool.  The picture does not do them justice!

2 Hole Beads Have Arrived!

 

The new 2-hole beads have arrived!!  We have added squares, lentils and daggers.  We have also added some new colors of the triangles. Free Patterns are also available to give you ideas on how to use these beads.

Need Pearls?

 

We just received a new shipment of pearls so all colors are in stock.  We have all sizes of pearls ranging from 16mm all of the way down to 2mm.  The 2mm pearls are a new addition! Pearls can be used as a substitute for druks and firepolish.

Sue's Last Full-Day Is This Saturday

Sue's last day in the store is this Saturday!

Sue will still be teaching classes and running private lessons - just not working in the store full time.  We hope you can stop in and say hello.

A Message from Kim West

I am absolutely honored to be the new owner of Stony Creek Bead.  I have been a long-time customer and it has been my favorite bead store for many years.  

I have been working in corporate America for a tax and accounting software firm for the last 19 years.  I am so excited for this opportunity to be able to get out from behind a computer and share the love of beading with all of you on a full time basis.  

I know that I have some big shoes to fill.  Jenn and Sue have a wealth of knowledge and inspiration.  I hope you will share this beading journey with me!

Big, and we mean BIG, news...

On May 5, 2005, Sue and I started an incredible journey - owning and operating Stony Creek Bead.  That was ten years ago, and we have decided that is time to change directions in the journey of our lives. Through a wonderful chain of events, we were given the opportunity to sell the business to someone who will love it as much as we do.  

 

Effective February 22, 2015, Kim West will be the new owner of Stony Creek Bead.  Some of you already know her. We hope that you welcome her with open arms and continue your amazing support, just as you have done with us.  

Both Sue and I know that none of this would have been possible without our amazing customers - you.  Thank you, thank you, thank you.  

This Is NOT Goodbye!

Sue and I will still be selling our patterns on Etsy (as well as a few guest artist's too).  We have changed the name of our online store to Paint Creek Bead Design.  Be sure to check us out and come back often as we will be adding new patterns often as possible.
